Spring :
The Spring Framework is an open source application framework that aims to make J2EE development easier. Unlike single-tier frameworks, such as Struts or Hibernate, Spring aims to help structure whole applications in a consistent, productive manner, pulling together best-of-breed single-tier frameworks to create a coherent architecture. Intivion has come up with a few ‘home grown’ struts/spring/hibernate architectures/frameworks based on project volume and size to ‘speed up’ development process. Intivion has also developed many reusable components that are designed and developed to be used in plug-and-play manner like login module, Ajax UI components, Query framework etc. These home grown architecture implementations comes up with built-in services like security management, transaction management, Resource Management, tackle scalability issues etc. |

Hibernate :
Hibernate is a powerful, high performance object/relational persistence and query service framework. Hibernate lets you develop persistent classes following object-oriented idiom - including association, inheritance, polymorphism, composition, and collections. Hibernate allows you to express queries in its own portable SQL extension (HQL), as well as in native SQL.
Intivion with its vast experience in web application development uses the hibernate framework to exponentially increase the flexibility, scalability and performance of the web application. |

Portals :
Portals are Web pages that customize and aggregate information for specific constituencies.
In general, portals provide:
- A custom framework for presenting pages and components within each page and organizing information for specific constituencies
- Personalization and customization capabilities
- A set of “portlets” (the components that integrate with data, applications, content, and resources and actually present information to the portal user)
- A single sign-on to the set of applications accessed via the portal
- Other features, such as search and collaboration.
Intivion has successfully developed an integration layer between Liferay Portal server and Alfresco Content Management Server wherein the content is managed from CMS side and same can is published in Portal. Intivion has strong hold and in-depth understanding of open source portal servers and content management servers like Liferay and Alfresco, respectively. |
